My name is Patrick and I'm the human behind Pizzadonkey.

I grew up at the Jersey Shore but spent the greater part of my adulthood in New York City, where I pursued my degrees (BA-Literature; MS-Education), worked in a lot of coffee shops & eventually became a public school teacher.  I spent over seven years in the classroom, teaching students with disabilities.  Feeling creatively stifled at work (dang standardized tests!), I picked up stained glass as an outlet.  I'm self-taught, and was able to hone my skills in my tiny Brooklyn bedroom, mostly during my summer vacations.  

I moved west with my partner in 2019, and went full-time with glass when the pandemic hit.  When I'm not working on glass, I enjoy spending time with my cat (Gretzky) and two dogs (Arlene & Meatball), going for runs, and reading sci-fi.
